Back to prison we go!

The only way you can make it anywhere in life is to go to prison
- Katie Hertig and Mary Stanger

So back to school we go, it's kinda depressing that the summer is over, but now I'm one step closer reaching my goal and graduating. That doesn't mean that I'm gonna like it and so the prison quote came alive, but I would like to think that school is just a little better that prison, but only slightly *sarcasm*. I am way excited for the classes I'm taking, foods, Ap psychology, and band. I am taking Ap english, but I really don't like english, but I need to learn how to write properly if I'm going to be a teacher.

Everyone is growing up so fast me included I remember starting kindergarten and now I'm a senior at Woods Cross High School. My brother left yesterday for SUU, but at least I can text him. My little sis is going into ninth grade and Jess is starting her first year of culinary school at SLCC. My oldest bro Ted is almost done with his masters program. Life just keeps going and going and theres nothing we can do about it. Soon I'll be married and have children, weird......

Ok I don't want to talk about growing up anymore. So I finished a way awesome anime today, it's called Clannad and I would just like to say that I have never cried so much in an animated show before. There are sad parts, but it ends happy so all is well. Anime is AWESOME! My dad teases me and my sisters all the time about it though, he just doesn't understand the awesomeness I guess. Besides watching awesome anime I have also been playing Kingdom Hearts which is really close, it's one of the best games EVER! Ok I probably should stop now cause I'm using my sis' computer and it needs a nap. :)

The hottese place on Earth, I swear!

Ok don't get me wrong, I love Arizona, but it's sooooo HOT!!!!! So we don't go outside a lot. My Sis, Mom, and Dad go exercise at six in the morning, they are crazy. It's so good to see my sis Erin though, I have missed her a bunch, I only get to see her twice every other year and I really don't like it. Atleast we can keep in contact with her and she sends photos every once in awhile, but it's not the same as actually doing stuff with her. Besides it being really hot, I have had fun the last couple of days, we went to see a movie, The ZooKeeper (which was really cute), and play games and just hang out as a family. Today Erin even made stake! It was so delicious it makes my mouth water just thinking about it.

Here is our exciting schedule for the week, I don't know what day we are going to do these things thoug.
-Going to Sedona to see cliff dwellings
-Going to see Tombstone Arizona
-Swimming at Erin's inlaws pool
-Swimming at one of Erin's friends pools
-Going to a water park called Wet'n Wild
- going hors back riding! ( I'm really excited for that one)

I miss everyone back at home and the slightly cooler tem, but I still have a week to go and by then I should be all vacationed out.

The Battle of a Life Time!

Today I was in a battle for my life, brother against brother fighting to stay alive. Balls flying through the air inches away from impact so close to death you can almost feel death whispering in your ear. Thankfully you would come back to life seconds later and then go eat some chips or drink a little bit of water so you were ready for the next battle.

Paint balling is a very painful sport, if you could ever call it that. It was a ton of fun though I loved it. We didn't use guns though we used wrist rockets which were very hard to get used to especially not squishing the paint balls or hitting yourself with it. I did end up hitting a couple of people, but Adam was definately the best at and he hit me really hard in the shoulder, but I will heal. The only down side to it is that it was so humid and hot that there was an abundance of sweat and the paint balls would start to melt and squish when you picked them up. I also had exercised earlier that day so I was not as active as I could have been. By the end of two hours we were all bushed, a pan of blonde brownies was devoured then we all went home. We were expecting to do something after, but the tired and stinkiness got to us and were to exhausted to even talk very much.

I LOVE PAINT BALLING!!!

All Day in my Swim Suit

Today I spent probably 7 hours in my swimsuit. You see we went to the pool at 12:30 and only stayed for an hour, lame I know, then came home and its at that point in the summer where I feel so lazy that I don't want to change. I even took a nap in it which wasn't all that weird until I woke up three hours latter and hey look my swim suit is still on. Then I had to wait for two more hours to shower cause Mom needed help with dinner and Grandpa was coming over for dinner. Yes! my grandpa is coming to see me in my gross hair board shorts and swim suit (sarcasm hand raised through that whole sentence). Thankfully I had a jacket near by that I could slip on. Finally I had time to shower after he left and the swimsuit could come off. It felt extremely nice to get out of that thing.....and to shave my legs. This probably has to be one of the most boring entries I have ever written, but there you go.

I NEED TO FIND OTHER THINGS TO DO!

My Adventure through the Moorlands of Britain and the Great Forest of Adacanyon

This day of July 4th, 2011 I ventured with my family through through vast moorlands Britain where we encountered many creatures of untold origin and faced many obsicals, it seemed as if all of nature was determined to keep us from reaching the end of our journey. We hiked out to our destination not knowing what would become of us, we were in search of the great waterfall of Adacanyon, said to be ledgendary in the great book of Hisalt, which we found in the catacombs of Hert. This waterfall was said to grant great fortune and well being to anyone who who gazed upon it. We trekked accross the moors for a quarter of a mile where we stopped only to find a vast forest full of trecherous rocks and twisting trees. As we walked I was carefull to stay with my Mother for I was greatly fatigued and she was my anchor, the one thing that kept me from toppling over. As we made our way we saw many others who were relentless in their search for the great waterfall, but did not have the same determination that we did. Up we would climb, up and up, I was ready to stop and we had hardly begun our journey, my legs had tured to jelly and my chest felt as heavy as led, but my Mother would not give up and kept pulling me on ahead. We had to cross vast rivers, rushing at great speeds with rocks beneath so slippery they would but a frog to shame. I kept my footing and relentlessly pushed on, not afraid of the water nor the cold that was pressing in on my body like a thousand needles. I wanted to see that waterfall more than anything in the world. Those creatures spoken of earlier were very numerous and close inbetween as if they ran in a pack. Like giant wolves they were fierce and deadly, but with my fathers great war hammer he defeated them and kept his family safe from harm. We did come upon many misfortunes, Myself and my brother Jeffrey fell. The pain was unbareable, but my sister Jessica was well schooled in the uses of magic and healed our wounds to the best of her ability. We were almost to our destination when the youngest, Heidi, fell ill to a virus which struck here with enourmous abdominal cramps and we feared we would have to turn back, for Jessica's magic was not strong enough to heal such pain. Heidi was stronger than anyone I have ever seen, she fought through the pain and pressed forward, anxious to see the waterfall and behold its wonderful sight. Weary and spirits very low we reach the last leg of our journey, we needed to cross the river one last time , but we faced the fastest part of the river and most definately the coldest. All we had to hold on to was an ancient piece of rope that looked at breaking point. My father went first helping my two other sisters along the way. Myself and my brother came next as I stepped into the icy water pain shot up my leg and my feet were numb in seconds. With sheer will power I made it accross and there are no word to describe it, but magnificent. The cooling spray washed over us and I felt its power radiate through my body. Our time was running short, for Jessica needed to be at a council of the elders for a hearing of the utmost importance and could not be late, if she was she would be through into the pit of despair for ETERNITY! My two sister and father rushed on ahead of us while we hung back because of our great weariness. My brother would protect us from the beasts and we would not have to go as fast as the others. We had great fortune come upon us and were able to make it safely back home without the use any weapons or magic, I feel that the power of the water fall truely worked.

All right I didn't go on a great journey, but we did hike up Adam's Canyon and did see a huge waterfall. It was one of my favorite hikes that we have ever taken. There were no great beasts, but a lot of people with dogs. Jessica really isn't a wizard, but she did need to get home and go to a parade. It was an awesome hike and I would definately recomend it. Its all up hill there, but its all down back. The waterfall was supercool and close enough that you could go touch it. It was a BLAST!

The Woes of an Aspiring Model! (big sarcasm hand)

Yesterday was my first time ever at a photo shoot. The location was at some girls house and I didn't even get my own dressing room, whats with that. I had to use low quality make up and the only person I had to do my hair was some teenage girl, not exactly the quality that I am used to. It was probably 96 degrees outside and they wanted me to wear black! Oh my gosh it was horrible!

All hysteria aside I had a fun photo shoot at my house yesterday with some friends and of course, my sisters. It was so much fun! We did each others make up and wore, for the most part, interesting outfits. Jessica, my oldest sis, was dressed in a burgundy prom dress that had to have been from the 80s. It was short in the front and long in the back with the most hideous lace balloon sleeves I have ever seen. With her hair done up in a fashionable side pony and gaudy blue eye shadow it was needless to say old fashioned. Heidi on the other hand had on a maroon go go dress with fishnet tights, a black leather jacket, and hair as poofy as we could make it, and lets not forget the black commando boots. We kept her pictures looking on the verge of tears and capturing her in black and white put a real depressive look into the whole thing. Next came me, I had on skinny jeans, red converse, a black ruffle shirt, a gray vest and a long pink beaded necklace. My hair was expertly done by Ashlee Stanford and if you haven't heard of her, then you most definitely should. She put it in loose curls that framed my face and last, but surely not least, a pink feather in my hair. Ashlee was the last to have her pics taken and she kept her pictures on the shy looking side. with her hair and outfit of her own creation, she made the modeling career look easy. Finally I must not forget our awesome photographer Abbie Isaac! She did an awesome, capturing us in all our silliness.

If you ever want to get together and take silly model pictures, I recommend it. I had so much FUN!

Life is giving me a hard time.

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Life and people are driving me insane right now! Do you ever feel like everyone in the world is out to get you in some way or another. I know that sounds way dramatic and maybe I am being over dramatizing, but that is how it feels. Friends, family, school, and a bunch of other stuff. I wish everyone would take a chill pill and calm down, including myself. Make life something to have fun with, not a disaster just waiting to happen. I notice people freaking out over little things, once again I am including myself.
The last couple of weeks my friends and family have been driving me absolutely INSANE! Like before its the little things that do it. Like not being included, people thinking they are always right, and one upping. These are just a few of them. You know one of the biggest links to this is the fact that I have a very blue personality, which can be contributed partly to the fact that i had cancer and was very self conscious about my bald head, and would get made fun of all the time. That is why I cry all the time because I have a blue personality and that is the way that I show emotion. I am going away for a couple of days on a band trip and most of these people will be in Utah while I am in California, so that will give me time to get away from the insanity.

Now for a list of pet peeves! ( sometimes I do them though and am a major hypocrite, but they still bug me, nobodies perfect)
  • people correcting my spelling
  • not pointing toes in dance
  • one upping
  • no it alls
  • rude people
  • not having straight lines
  • stupid people
  • camis below the butt
  • bumps in hair ( when I see people with hair like this all I want to do is brush it for them)
  • things being dirty ( but I don't want to clean them, go figure)
  • people who think that they can do something better than everyone else
  • playing with your gum
  • when people sing lyrics wrong
  • people who think they are better than everyone else
Of course I have more, but that would bore everyone and make everyone think I am a tight wad, which is some what true. I had to get that off my chest before I exploded into a million pieces!
